A significant decision for the United States in favor of Ukraine is imminent. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a formal announcement is planned for the next day.
“I’ve received word that an important US decision is imminent in aid of Ukraine, with an official announcement set for tomorrow. The aid is expected to include substantial support for the Ukrainian military. This assistance has been essential in helping Ukraine defend itself against the ongoing war,” the head of state said.
Zelenskyy recommended that the announced aid contribute to stabilizing the front lines. He also emphasized that receiving more comprehensive supplies from partners will ultimately save more lives of Ukraine’s soldiers.
The organization is also taking steps to ensure that its other partners continue to provide support at the desired level.
Recently, it was reported by the Associated Press that the United States plans to announce a $1.25 billion military aid package for Ukraine on Monday, December 30.
The substantial support package will comprise a substantial quantity of ammunition, particularly for anti-aircraft missile systems and the HAWK air defense system. Additionally, it will include Stinger missiles, along with 155 mm and 105 mm artillery projectiles.
